The rotary drum has been an industrial machine since the early twentieth century. Simple in concept, it processes solids or sludges through the tumbling action of rotation and the curtains of material formed by its flights.
At COMSPAIN we design, manufacture and maintain rotary drums and fluidised beds matched to the demands of each process. We cover the full cycle: basic and detail engineering, manufacture, erection, commissioning and after-sales service.

Engineering
Engineering in every detail
The drums can run with gas and product flows co-current or counter-current, with direct or indirect heating as the process requires. The internals are designed around the rheology of each product to maximise heat and mass transfer, spread the product evenly and reach maximum fill without causing agglomeration.
