Bearing and gear vibration
The earliest sign of wear, misalignment or mechanical play in drives, girth gears and bearings — weeks or months before the problem becomes audible or visible.
Services
Continuous monitoring of your equipment — vibration, temperature and more than 50 variables — with alerts before a breakdown stops the plant.
Our approach
A lot can happen between two scheduled maintenance visits.
A bearing starts to wear, a girth gear loses alignment, a motor draws more current than usual — and until the next inspection, nobody knows. Continuous monitoring closes that gap: sensors on the equipment, real-time data and alerts whenever something moves outside its normal range.
We developed this service together with CEDBASE, our sister company specialising in data engineering and industrial monitoring, whose DIS 4.0 system is already installed in fertilizer, minerals and refining plants. It is not a generic add-on: it is built for heavy rotating machinery, the same kind of equipment we design and manufacture.
Signals
The earliest sign of wear, misalignment or mechanical play in drives, girth gears and bearings — weeks or months before the problem becomes audible or visible.
Confirms when a problem is already well advanced: useful as a second signal, not as a substitute for vibration.
A motor drawing more power than usual is often compensating for a mechanical problem before it shows up any other way.
Pressure, flow, moisture and other process parameters, depending on what each plant needs to monitor.
The system
DIS 4.0 is plug & play: it installs in minutes and needs no complex integration with the plant’s existing systems.
Immediate installation. Up and running in minutes, with no prior integration project.
Smart alerts. Notifications in the app and by email, configurable to suit you.
Works with any sensor. Flexible hardware — no need to replace the instrumentation already installed.
Multi-platform access. From a phone, tablet or PC, anywhere.
Your data stays yours. Our own infrastructure, with no dependence on third-party clouds.
Proven in demanding plants. Fertilizer, minerals and refining plants.
Technical honesty
Not every signal gives the same amount of warning. Vibration is the reference technology for picking up bearing wear and gear problems early; temperature confirms the problem, but usually once it is further along. So we make vibration the primary signal on drives and riding gear, with temperature and the remaining variables as confirmation.
Why COMSPAIN
Not a generic system adapted after the fact: it is proven on the same kind of machinery we design and build.
Vibration as the primary reference, not temperature alone.
Our own infrastructure, with no third party standing between you and your own data.
Up and running in minutes, with no drawn-out integration project.
If we spot an anomaly, we coordinate directly with Technical assistance or Spare parts to resolve it.
Spotted an anomaly? The next step is usually Technical assistance or, if work is needed, Spare parts and Revamping & retrofit.
Tell us what equipment you have and which variables concern you — vibration, temperature, power draw — and we’ll show you what monitoring would look like in your case.
